Hello, my name is Mike (I go by Dauvis on the Internet) and it is a pleasure to know that you are reading this page. As this is a place to give information about my blog, I’ll start by introducing myself.
I am a software developer that works for BKD LLP in the Indianapolis, Indiana area. My area of specialty is Dynamics AX, Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (or whatever Microsoft chooses to call it today). I am married and have three kids, all of whom we adopted, and a foster child. Given the challenges that they face, they are good kids; although the teenager is a big concern.
I began my career in software development in 1995 as a NeXTStep developer at a now-defunct telemarketing company. I moved into working with Axapta shortly after Microsoft released version 3 (late 2002 or early 2003). I worked on the platform since.
I started this blog to share information and to give some of my thoughts on software development. One of my short-term goals is to expand my knowledge on this topic.

Let’s keep things respectful (I really hope that this will never be a problem). No spam please (I put politics and religion in this category here). If you cannot be respectful or not spammy, I will delete it.
